System Requirements

Supported Operating Systems and Software
Docs2Web was designed to work on Windows 95/98/Me/NT 4/2000/2003/XP/Vista. Server operating systems like Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 Server are preferred. These operating systems also come with Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server), which is capable of handling a Docs2Web websites.

Windows 95, NT 4.0, and older versions of Windows 98 may need to have MDAC 2.5 or later installed to use Docs2Web. Docs2Web may display an error message indicating this failure if this is the case. MDAC version 2.8 or higher can be freely downloaded from http://msdn.microsoft.com/data/mdac/downloads/default.aspx.

Vista Issues
The included web server is not compatible with Windows Vista. However, Docs2Web can be installed on other available web servers that support ISAPI on Vista. Some versions of Vista include a web server which should allow the use of Docs2Web.

Hardware
Intel Pentium II processor (or equivalent) or greater
256Mb System Memory or greater is preferred
